Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out to create a positive experience
Obtain and record vital signs and clinical information accurately
Support clinicians by preparing exam rooms, collecting specimens, and assisting with procedures
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
Coordinate patient flow and communication between departments to keep the clinic running smoothly
Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed at all times

Qualifications

Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/AAMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred or relevant training completed
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Friendly, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills
Previous ambulatory/clinic experience is a plus
Ability to pass background and health screening per facility requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant program completion preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with patient intake and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record systems or quick ability to learn
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Good time management and ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
