Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with patient care tasks and streamline clinic flow
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
Collect vital signs and accurately document patient information
Perform phlebotomy and basic clinical procedures as appropriate
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
Coordinate patient check-in/check-out and manage scheduling tasks
Support infection control and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
Contribute to a positive team environment and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered/Relevant certificate preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or willing to obtain
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; patient-focused mindset
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Comfortable using electronic medical records and basic clinical equipment
Reliable, punctual, and ready to be part of a collaborative team

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with vital signs, specimen collection, and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with EMR systems and accurate documentation practices
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy clinic
Patient triage basics and strong customer service skills
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
