Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit, making every interaction matter
Assist providers with examinations and procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Collect and document vitals, medical histories, and other clinical information accurately
Perform point-of-care testing and basic lab duties as directed
Maintain exam rooms and ensure equipment is clean, stocked, and ready
Communicate clearly with patients about next steps, follow-ups, and instructions
Collaborate with the care team to help deliver efficient, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant certificate preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification required or obtained upon hire
Comfortable with patient-facing clinical duties and basic procedural assistance
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certificate or related clinical training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with taking vitals and documenting clinical information accurately
Basic knowledge of infection control and clinical safety practices
Comfortable using EHR systems and following documentation protocols
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Empathy and strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse patient populations
