Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit with professionalism
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and reason for visit clearly and accurately
- Assist clinicians during exams and minor procedures in the ambulatory setting
- Perform point-of-care testing and process lab specimens according to protocol
- Maintain exam rooms and supplies so care runs smoothly for every patient
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to coordinate care and follow-up
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused attitude
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfortable working in an ambulatory clinic environment and following protocols
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification or diploma preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with taking vitals and basic clinical assessments
- Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate charting
- Good infection control and specimen handling practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Time management to keep clinic flow efficient
- Basic knowledge of common ambulatory procedures and testing
