Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinical staff with ambulatory patient care and procedures
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
Collect patient histories and document vitals accurately
Support efficient patient flow by coordinating check-ins and check-outs
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members
Maintain infection control and safety standards in the clinic environment

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA) preferred or equivalent clinical experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
Comfortable with ambulatory clinic workflows and patient-facing responsibilities
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to complete a 5-hour clinical shift and participate in orientation

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in taking vital signs and basic clinical measurements
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow protocols for infection control and patient safety
Customer-service mindset with a calm bedside manner
