Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient intake and rooming for ambulatory visits
- Measure and record vital signs accurately and efficiently
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Document patient information and visit details in the EHR
- Support clinic flow by coordinating with front-desk and clinical teams
- Administer basic injections or phlebotomy if certified and competent
- Participate in orientation and trainings to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or equivalent preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtained upon hire
- Previous ambulatory/clinic experience preferred but new grads welcome
- Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Current immunizations per facility policy and ability to pass background checks
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with vitals, patient rooming, and basic clinical procedures
- Familiarity with ambulatory clinic workflows and infection control practices
- Basic phlebotomy and injection skills (if certified)
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail in the EHR
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinic setting
- Team-oriented mindset and excellent patient communication
