Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 5-hour shift (exact start/end times and days to be determined), Day/AM shift; orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients and support a welcoming, efficient ambulatory clinic experience
Assist clinicians with procedures and rooming patients accurately
Measure and record vital signs and basic patient history
Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation
Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to keep workflows moving

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred, or relevant clinical experience
Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain one
Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic settings is a plus
Strong patient communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with basic clinical procedures and vital sign collection
Comfortable with electronic medical record documentation
Good interpersonal and team collaboration skills
Basic infection control and safety practices
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow clinical protocols and direction from providers
