Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit to ensure a positive clinic experience
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints accurately
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures in an ambulatory setting
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as specimen collection and basic point-of-care testing
- Document patient encounters clearly in the electronic health record
- Coordinate patient flow and help maintain a clean, efficient exam room environment
- Communicate test results and follow-up instructions as directed by providers
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or diploma preferred (CMA, RMA or equivalent)
- BLS/CPR certification required or able to obtain prior to start
- Previous ambulatory or outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient-service skills
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment with attention to detail
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and patient histories
- Familiarity with basic clinical procedures and infection control practices
- Comfortable with specimen collection and point-of-care testing
- Working knowledge of electronic health record systems and documentation best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Organizational skills to manage patient flow and clinic tasks efficiently
