Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered direct care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and care interventions in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure smooth handoffs
• Maintain infection control standards, safety protocols, and a clean care environment
• Advocate for patients and communicate changes in condition promptly to nursing leadership and providers

Qualifications

• Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Georgia (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) / CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid professional references and ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborating with a care team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program and active LPN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic IV/SC skills as applicable
• Patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and basic clinical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate charting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate patient care
• Time management and prioritization in a 12.5-hour clinical shift
