Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care during day shift hours
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes in condition
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient care and clinical observations in the electronic health record
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges to keep patient flow smooth
• Participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives to improve outcomes
• Precept and support colleagues when needed to foster a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma (Compact license accepted where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus depending on unit
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making abilities
• Medication administration and IV/infusion therapy competence
• Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) and thorough documentation
• Infection prevention, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Patient and family education with a focus on clear, compassionate communication
