Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients with attention to detail
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document actions accurately
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes promptly to the care team
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Deliver patient and family education in a clear, respectful manner to promote recovery and self-care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the patient record and follow facility protocols

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license valid in Georgia (required)
• BLS/CPR certification (required or must be obtained upon hire)
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams
• Prior LPN experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar settings is preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing interventions
• Skilled at taking accurate vital signs and recognizing clinical changes
• Familiar with charting best practices and maintaining clear documentation
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate patient-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable following facility policies, infection control, and safety protocols
