Roles & Responsibilities

Train users across all levels on EHR and clinical systems using innovative methods like classroom sessions and web conferencing
Configure and optimize clinical content alongside medical staff for top-notch patient care
Triage user issues swiftly and route them to the right experts
Update application content with the latest tests, meds, and codes to stay ahead
Continuously evaluate and enhance clinical processes to match best practices
Collaborate with IT teams, SEARHC staff, and vendors to drive improvements

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Alaska (or applied for direct hire)
Minimum 5 years in a medical setting with clinical experience preferred
2+ years with clinical information systems
1+ year with computer tech like programming or hardware
BSN preferred, high school diploma required
Basic Life Support certification
Clinical Informatics training a plus

Education

BSN preferred; advanced degrees may substitute for experience; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Electronic Health Records, clinical apps, and info systems
Familiarity with HL7 messaging, scheduling, radiology, lab, and scanning systems
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Problem-solving prowess and good judgment
Ability to work independently or in teams across sites
