Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, outpatient-focused family medicine care for patients across the lifespan
- Build and maintain long-term, patient-centered relationships with individuals and families
- Deliver comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
- Collaborate closely with experienced clinical and administrative staff to coordinate care
- Contribute to the health and wellness of a rural community through meaningful clinical work
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and uphold practice standards and compliance
- Participate in practice improvement efforts and support a positive clinic culture
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in New York State
- DEA certification or eligibility
- A passion for community-focused, patient-centered primary care
Education
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of Family Medicine residency
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong outpatient primary care and family medicine expertise
- Ability to care for patients across the lifespan with empathy and clinical skill
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative practice
- Comfort working in a rural healthcare setting and building community relationships
- Commitment to maintaining certifications and continuing medical education
