Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
Assist surgeons during complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Monitor patient vitals and manage sterile field throughout surgeries
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery

Qualifications

Active California RN license is required
At least 1 year of recent CVOR experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
Proficiency with surgical instruments and equipment
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
