Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Document patient interactions and care accurately in the chart
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in direct patient care is a plus
• Ability to work per diem day shifts (07:00 AM - 07:00 PM)
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to follow facility policies and procedures
• Must meet facility requirements for background checks, TB screening, and immunizations

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient handling and safety practices
• Basic skills in taking and recording vital signs
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff
• Time management for efficient patient care and documentation
• Comfortable with basic EMR/charting or willing to learn
