Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care that makes a real difference
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must be valid in California
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with direct patient care and working as part of a collaborative team
Professional, reliable, and able to follow clinical directions and documentation standards
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care practices and infection control
Ability to take and record vital signs and observe patient condition
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members
Basic charting and documentation skills (electronic or paper)
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
