Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, supporting activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility with dignity and respect
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations in charts or electronic records
• Support safe transfers and proper use of mobility aids to reduce fall risk
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Help create a comfortable, respectful environment that promotes patient well-being
• Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (state certification required; Pennsylvania certification preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and health screening as required by facility
• Compassionate patient-focused attitude and good communication skills
• Comfortable performing physical care tasks and working as part of a caregiving team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established protocols and procedures

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Strong observation skills and ability to recognize changes in patient condition
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills for working with residents and clinical staff
• Basic charting and documentation skills, attention to detail
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling techniques
• Time management and ability to prioritize care tasks during a shift
