Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic care and personal assistance to patients
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor, record and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers, ambulation and mobility needs
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful patient environment
Communicate clearly and collaboratively with nurses, providers and families

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (required)
Current/state-appropriate nursing assistant registration or license
BLS/CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong patient-care focus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved Nurse Aide training program and CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and safe patient handling
Infection control and basic safety procedures
Accurate documentation and basic electronic charting familiarity
Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
