Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for patients, assisting with ADLs like bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and fall-prevention measures with attention and care
• Assist with feeding, toileting and other routine bedside care while preserving patient dignity
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively with nurses, therapists and family members
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and electronic records
• Follow infection-control protocols and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state-approved) required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
• Comfortable working overnight hours and flexible per diem scheduling
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA training program and current state CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Knowledge of vital sign measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members
• Basic familiarity with electronic medical records and charting preferred
