Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and safe positioning
• Take and accurately record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and assist with charting tasks
• Support safe infection control practices and a clean patient environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Pennsylvania) required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and any facility-required health screening
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for per-diem scheduling

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in providing ADL care and basic patient hygiene
• Proficient at taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Basic charting/EMR familiarity and accurate record keeping
• Teamwork, time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
