Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the care team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility while promoting independence
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compassionate environment for patients
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
• Document patient interactions accurately and timely in the record system

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of employment
• CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Per diem or contract experience is a plus, but all caring candidates encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and adherence to PPE protocols
• Clear, compassionate verbal and written communication
• Team collaboration and following care plans
