Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical function and mobility needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve independence
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the clinical record to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate optimal patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and strategies to maintain gains
• Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on objective measures and patient goals

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Comfortable working a schedule that includes all days of the week as part of coverage
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills with good documentation habits
• Must be able to complete required facility onboarding (background check, immunizations, etc.)

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's/Bachelor's in Physical Therapy or related field (as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, balance and gait training
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment, adaptive devices, and transfer techniques
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing and rehab team members
• Time management and caseload prioritization in a fast-paced setting
