Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies consistently

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active CNA license or eligibility in New Mexico
Comfortable working night shifts and flexible per diem schedules
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
Basic charting and documentation skills
Team-oriented mindset and good interpersonal skills
