Location: Rio Rancho, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight). Days not specified in the posting.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential or class as listed
Valid state registration or certification as required by New Mexico
Comfort and ability to work overnight shifts
Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding

Education

CNA certification required. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Taking and recording vital signs
Assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Accurate documentation and charting
Infection control and safety best practices
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
