Location: Christiana, PA

Start Date: 04-20-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (times and specific days to be confirmed with the facility; schedule TBD)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility with dignity
Monitor, record and report vital signs and any changes in patient condition
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver coordinated care
Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards
Document care accurately and timely in resident records

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must be valid for Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus; new CNAs are welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; required: CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basics of patient care and personal hygiene assistance
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
