Cath Lab Technologist – UHC Staffing

Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10 hour shifts with 1-2 weeknight call shifts, 2 weekend call shifts per 6-week pay cycle, and holiday call coverage required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles during life-saving cardiac procedures
Support cardiologists during STEMI emergencies and complex cardiovascular cases
Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes to provide critical care when it matters most

Qualifications

RCIS certification required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ARRT (R) certification preferred - Colorado Fluoroscopy license can be obtained within one week if needed
Solid experience in STEMI and cardiovascular lab procedures
Ability to work 4x10 hour shifts plus call coverage

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Cath Lab procedures and cardiovascular interventions
Strong understanding of STEMI protocols and cardiogenic shock management
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
Ability to work effectively in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
