Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting while preserving dignity
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers, supporting fall prevention
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
• Document care accurately and timely to support the clinical team
• Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents’ comfort
• Collaborate with teammates to create a safe, welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state-certified) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
• Prior CNA experience preferred but new grads from an approved program are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control
• Skill in assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
• Good documentation and time-management abilities
• Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
