Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers during clinic procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Perform patient assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Manage clinical tasks like prescription refills and calling patients with test results
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in the EHR and support charting accuracy
• Order and manage medical supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Promote a positive patient experience through clear communication and compassion
• Support clinic workflows and complete additional duties as assigned by the provider or Clinic Director

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current and active state licensure
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Demonstrated experience performing nursing procedures and patient assessments
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and organizational skills
• Excellent patient communication and people skills

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and clinical assessment expertise
• Comfort assisting providers with procedures and routine clinic tasks
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency and clinical documentation
• Prescription management and patient follow-up
• Supply ordering and basic clinic operations
• Critical thinking and strong organizational abilities
