Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia care across OR, Cath Lab and Endoscopy settings
• Administer regional anesthesia and perform nerve blocks for a wide range of procedures
• Deliver high-quality perioperative care for patients of varying acuity in a Level III trauma center
• Collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate equitably in call rotations and ensure coverage for weekends as needed
• Adhere to Oregon state statutes, facility policies and Medical Staff bylaws in all clinical practice
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional standards
• Support a collegial practice environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Active CRNA certification (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
• Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience (new graduates not accepted)
• Ability to practice independently in accordance with Oregon statutes and facility policies
• Willingness to reside within the immediate local area (relocation may be required)
• Clean malpractice history/background required
• Job requires submission of NPDB self-query report
• This position is not available to Locum candidates

Education

• CRNA certification (advanced practice nursing degree such as MSN or DNP is typical/expected)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in anesthesia and anesthesia-related care
• Proficiency with regional anesthesia and various nerve block techniques
• Experience in OR, Cath Lab and Endoscopy anesthesia
• Ability to manage trauma and high-acuity patients
• Comfort with healthy pediatric cases (peds limited as noted)
• Strong perioperative clinical decision-making and situational awareness
• Excellent teamwork and clear communication with physicians and staff
• Familiarity with independent CRNA practice and regulatory compliance
