Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in collaboration with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and perform advanced neonatal procedures when needed
• Lead clinical decision-making and manage individualized care plans for critically ill neonates
• Educate and support families through complex care journeys with compassion and clarity
• Engage in quality improvement and apply evidence-based practice to advance outcomes
• Coordinate care across pediatric subspecialties including surgery, cardiology and neurology
• Mentor and support new graduates and peers to grow clinical skills and confidence
• Commit to ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of neonatal care

Qualifications

• NNP Board Certification required (FNP, PNP or other NP certifications will not be accepted)
• Providers with 2+ years of NNP experience are highly preferred; new graduates are welcome and supported
• Not accepting locum tenens candidates
• Not accepting visa-sponsored candidates
• Active or eligible NNP licensure in the state where you will practice is expected

Education

• Graduate preparation as an NNP (master's, post-master's certificate, or DNP from an accredited program) and completion of an accredited NNP program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in neonatal care within a Level III NICU
• Experience with advanced neonatal procedures and high-risk deliveries
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Comfort collaborating with pediatric subspecialties and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
• Ability to provide family-centered education and compassionate communication
• Mentorship and teaching skills to support new clinicians
