Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour and 24-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days vary; schedule includes day and night coverage and weekend rotations)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting, managing high-risk and critically ill infants
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, hospitalists and subspecialists to deliver family-centered care
- Participate in neonatal transports alongside a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist
- Lead and coordinate care plans within a multidisciplinary team, supporting nurses and ancillary services
- Perform thorough clinical documentation and communicate clearly with families about care plans and progress
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain high standards of clinical practice
Qualifications
- NNP Board Certified (mandatory) — FNP, PNP or other NP certifications are not accepted
- Minimum 2+ years current experience as an NNP (no new graduate candidates)
- Experience working in a Level III NICU and with neonatal transport is preferred
- Locum candidates are not being considered for this position
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in neonatal care and NICU management
- Experience with neonatal transport processes and teamwork during transports
- Comfort working in a Level III NICU and managing high-risk deliveries and critically ill infants
- Strong team-based, multidisciplinary collaboration skills
