Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour Day Shift, 7:00 AM start time (may include some flexibility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams for patients in a Level II trauma center
Float between the main hospital and outpatient imaging department as needed
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while maintaining radiation safety standards
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to capture accurate images for diagnosis
Maintain and operate imaging equipment, troubleshooting minor issues
Document procedures accurately in EPIC EMR system

Qualifications

Current California CRT (Certificate of Radiologic Technology) required
Active CPR/BLS certification (BLS/BCLS) required
Fluoroscopy permit required
Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience preferred
Previous travel assignment experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC EMR charting
Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical settings
Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude
