Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence
Assist patients with therapeutic activities and exercises to improve daily living skills
Document patient progress and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment

Qualifications

Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in California
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a COTA preferred
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Graduate of an accredited COTA program

Education

Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients and families
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic modalities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
