Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 30-minute meal break

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve daily living skills
Document patient progress and communicate with the care team
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment

Qualifications

Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification
California state license or eligibility to obtain
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
Compassionate and patient-centered approach

Education

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and modalities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt treatments to individual patient needs
Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
