Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
Support residents' emotional and social well-being
Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle physical demands of the job
Time management and organizational skills
Understanding of infection control practices
