Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality cross-section images for diagnosis
• Interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
• Position patients accurately to capture required anatomical images
• Assess image quality and ensure all required measurements and data are included
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Document patient orders, charges, and image information in Meditech system
• Coordinate daily work schedule and patient flow to ensure timely exams

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (1 year required, 2 preferred)
• Active MA DPH Radiology License
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred or obtained within 2 years
• Experience with Toshiba CT scanners is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT scanning techniques and patient positioning
• Knowledge of contrast injection protocols and safety
• Ability to assess image quality and troubleshoot equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech computer system
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
