Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform rapid assessments and triage patients of all ages in a busy 36-bed ED
Provide life-saving interventions for trauma, cardiac, stroke, and pediatric emergencies
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and hospital protocols
Operate advanced medical equipment including cardiac monitors and ventilators
Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
Document accurately in the EMR and participate in code blue, STEMI, and trauma activations

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state
Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred (or obtain within timeframe)
Strong critical thinking and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing, triage, and trauma care
Proficient in cardiac care, medication administration, and EMR documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Calm and focused under pressure with rapid decision-making skills
