Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No holidays or weekends)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and plan comprehensive wound and ostomy care for patients with conditions including ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and acute/chronic wounds
Educate patients and their families on wound management, equipment selection, and self-care techniques
Collaborate with the healthcare team to recommend and evaluate supplies and equipment for optimal wound and ostomy care
Provide direct patient care and implement evidence-based wound care protocols
Document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

Qualifications

Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (ACLS preferred)
Wound Care Certification (required)
Minimum 3 years of recent wound care experience
Active Arizona RN license or compact license accepted

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in wound care, including ostomies, pressure ulcers, and chronic wounds
Strong patient education and communication skills
Ability to select and recommend appropriate wound care supplies
Knowledge of wound assessment and documentation standards
