Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of 80% outpatient pediatrics and 20% inpatient adults
Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust therapies as needed
Supervise and mentor SLPA staff when applicable

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in pediatric and outpatient settings required
Experience with adult inpatient rehabilitation is a plus
Must hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Ohio
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
Proficiency with Point Click EMR system

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in pediatric speech and language disorders
Strong clinical skills in adult inpatient rehabilitation
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills
