Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist clinical staff with vital signs, basic observations, and timely reporting of changes
• Support patient hygiene, mobility and comfort with dignity and respect
• Document care accurately and promptly according to facility guidelines
• Work closely with nurses and the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and practice infection control standards

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (required)
• Active California CNA license or eligibility to work in California
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling
• Clean background check and up-to-date immunizations/TB screening as required by site
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with basic patient assessments and taking vital signs
• Skilled in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
• Ability to document care clearly in patient charts and electronic systems
• Team-oriented mindset with dependable time management
