Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers and postpartum couplets (>35 weeks gestation)
Monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue and titrate drips such as magnesium sulfate and oxytocin
Assist with neonatal resuscitation including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Support circulator role during C-sections, focusing on newborn care
Collaborate with a close-knit team in a rural hospital setting, ensuring safe and personalized care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to pass fit testing for N95 respirators (no facial hair that interferes)
Comfort working independently in a rural facility with limited resources
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EFM interpretation and OB Trace Vue
Skilled in titrating antepartum and postpartum medications
Knowledge of AWHONN nurse-to-patient ratios
Experience with neonatal ventilatory support (CPAP, BiPAP)
Ability to float to MSP/ED for 1:1 patient sitting if needed
