Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM plus on-call 24/7 including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care
Lead and support nursing staff, enhancing clinical competency and fostering a positive culture
Provide bedside procedure support and administer moderate sedation in the Cath Lab
Manage pre- and post-procedure care, including patient recovery and holding
Collaborate with the unit manager and clinical team to streamline operations and improve outcomes
Ensure compliance with required certifications and competency standards across the unit

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in a management or leadership role
Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in critical care, telemetry, and cardiac/cath lab settings

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical leadership and team building
Critical care monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Cath lab procedures including moderate sedation
Ability to titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex cardiac/respiratory patients
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
