Location: Skowhegan, ME

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:15 PM

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer medications accurately and on schedule to residents
Monitor residents for medication side effects and report concerns
Document medication administration in compliance with facility policies
Communicate with nursing staff to ensure coordinated care
Maintain a clean and organized medication room
Provide compassionate support to residents and their families

Qualifications

Valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Maine
Must not be a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) – CMT only
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of state regulations regarding medication management
Time management skills to handle multiple residents efficiently
Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
