Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Take charge of the unit as the lead nurse, overseeing resident care
Administer medications and perform wound care with precision and compassion
Monitor residents with common diagnoses such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and supportive environment
Document care in Matrix EMR and communicate effectively with families and staff

Qualifications

Active RN license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year long-term care experience preferred
Must be able to pass meds and perform wound care independently

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration
Familiarity with Matrix EMR is a plus
