Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to a diverse patient population in PCU/IMC units across multiple facilities
Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin with confidence
Float within Zone 1 facilities covering Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (NLC)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with cardiac drip management, insulin, and ativan administration
Prior neuro and Epic experience preferred
Willingness to float throughout a 60-mile zone

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and stepdown care
Comfortable with titration of dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amiodarone
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for acute patients
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
