Roles & Responsibilities

Operate PET/CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure image quality.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) or ARRT (N).
Current BLS certification.
Experience in PET/CT imaging preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in PET/CT imaging techniques and protocols.
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
Strong patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
