Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturday once a month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, evaluate, and update therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status of patients
Develop and direct physical therapy treatment plans
Instruct patients and families in use and care of therapeutic appliances
Report patient reactions and changes in condition to the physician
Supervise homemaker/Home Health Aides when involved in patient's rehabilitation
Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on goal attainment

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute, home care, or rehab setting
Current BLS certification required
Valid Physical Therapy license in California

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a home health setting
