Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma PICU
Monitor vital signs using advanced CR equipment and deliver life-saving interventions
Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements with precision and confidence
Collaborate with intensivists, RTs, and multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Thrive in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment prioritizing patient care excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 2 years current acute care hospital PICU experience
BLS and PALS certifications required

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in PICU critical care
Proficiency with Meditech EMR and CR monitoring
Familiarity with procedures like IV starts and TPT placements
Preferred: CRRT experience, APHON certification, pediatric teaching hospital background
