Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours guaranteed per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns in a warm acute care setting
Educate parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health to build confident families
Assist with procedures like circumcisions and support smooth transitions
Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge RNs and lactation consultants
Deliver exceptional patient care with a 1:3 to 1:4 ratio that lets you truly connect

Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 2 years current Mother/Baby acute care hospital experience
BLS and NRP certifications required
Compassionate, caring, patient, friendly personality with a can-do attitude

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Mother/Baby acute care expertise
Lactation support experience preferred
Transitions care experience a plus
Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
