Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every other weekend, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care in a high-volume Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center
Triage and manage diverse patient cases with ratios up to 4:1
Collaborate with a tight-knit team using cutting-edge equipment like GE monitors and Baxter pumps
Coach and provide real-time feedback to optimize patient outcomes
Champion patient experience through AIDET and respectful interactions in a multicultural community

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience including 1 year in ER
Teamwork mentality and flexibility to thrive in all ED areas
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS required before start; ENPC within 90 days

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

ER experience in Level 2 trauma centers and high-volume EDs over 100,000 visits
Comprehensive stroke center expertise
Ability to coach, give feedback, and adapt across ED sections
Familiarity with Cerner documentation and HCA systems a plus
